Because we operate entirely as an informal, trust-based community network, we keep our operations close to home to protect the families we support.
We are an informal network of neighbors coordinating direct personal gifts to local families facing sudden crises due to immigration enforcement.
Because we operate on trust and solidarity, we have two golden rules to protect the families we support:
Strict Confidentiality: Never share names, addresses, photos, or specific stories of the families outside of our core coordinating group.
No Strings Attached: Our support consists of unconditional personal gifts. We are neighbors helping neighbors, not a bureaucracy.
A Note on How We Give:
Rooted Together is a grassroots solidarity network, not a formal charity or a 501(c)(3) organization. We operate entirely in an informal setting to ensure aid moves as quickly and directly as possible to the families who need it.
Because we are community liaisons helping families, all contributions are treated as personal, unconditional cash gifts directly to individuals. While this means your gifts are not tax-deductible, it also means 100% of your support goes straight into a family's hands with zero bureaucratic delays or administrative fees.
